The last 4 kms of the motorable approach road to the resort itself is a part of The Tamara Coorg experience as the road has a couple of hairpin bends, and offers a magnificent view of Coorg mountains, and has a steep narrow climb. This public road is well developed and is maintained by the resort. We’re indeed a remote experience and getting here is the only adventure activity of the resort! From Bangalore (Via Mysore) | 6 Hours of Happy Drive
Take the state highway 17 from Bangalore to Mysore which connects to The Tamara Coorg with an approximate 270 km from the city as it navigates Bangalore- Mysore- Hunsur-Gonikoppa-Virajpet-The Tamara Coorg. From Bangalore International Airport to The Tamara Coorg is approx 310 km. The journey will be linked with many attractions and historical places on the way like Ramanagar ( famous Shole Film has shot), Channapatna (famous for wooden toys), Sriranga Pattana ( Historical Place as King Tippu’s Kingdom), Mysore ( Famous for Palace), and Ane Chaklu ( Elephant Camp).
