      • Optimum peace and tranquility need to be maintained while being accompanied with the infant
    • Parents accompanied with 12- 15 Years old children must carry valid ID proof at the time of Check- in.
    • Check-in Time is 12: 00 noon and Check Out Time is 11: 00 am.
    • Early Check- in or late Check out will be taken as full day occupancy and the guests will be charged for the same.
    • Our cottages are meant for double occupancy only. In case of triple occupancy (chargeable) requested by guest, we do accommodate as per below conditions:
      • For the requirement of triple occupancy in Luxury Cottage, the third occupant must only be 12- 15 years old.
      • If the third occupant is above 15 years, only Suite Cottage can be booked on triple occupancy.
      • In both the cases the resort do not provide extra bed, but resort do provide bedding on the couch of about 5 feet in length.
    • Usage of Swimming Pool is complimentary. Guests should carry Nylon swimsuit, cream, and lotion kit. Swimsuits are also available at our revenue shop on additional cost.
    • There is only First- aid facility in the resort.
    • There is No Doctor on call facility available in the resort. Nearest hospital is 27 km/ 45 min. from the resort.
    • The 4 Kilometers road that takes to the resort is narrow and has Hairpin bends.
    • There is No Room Service of food & beverages, neither the guests are allowed to carry the food to their room.
    • Guests can relish the food served at The Falls during the following fixed hours:
      • Breakfast: 07:30 am to 10:30 am
      • Lunch: 12:30 pm to 03:30 pm
      • Dinner: 07:30 pm to 10:30 pm
    • As per the resort policy, non-occupants are not allowed to gather or visit the guests in the cottage.
    • The resort surrounding area is prone to leeches, so the guests are requested to contact the reception for necessary provisions in case of leech bite.
    • Trekking & Plantation trails are part of the package and interested guests are advised to carry sturdy shoes.
    • The reusable flip-flops are placed as an initiative by the resort in the cottages to avoid wastage and is only for in house use and convenience of the guests. Guests do not have the authority to remove it. In case if guests want to have their own, they can buy it from the retail shop in The Verandah.
    • Any other reusable items kept in the cottages are not supposed to be removed by the guests. If the guests want similar products, they can check with the Reception and in case of availability, can buy from the retail shop at The Verandah.
    • The guest should cause no damage to the property, cottage, or any of the belongings of the property and the cottage. In case of any damage done, the cost for replacement or repair will be charged to the guest.

Please Note:

  • Before arrival at The Tamara Coorg, we recommend sparing a moment to read through our resorts policies, as we believe that each guest wishes to preserve the tranquility at The Tamara Coorg. Hence we request our guest to respect the resorts policies. In case of any violation of the policies, the resort reserves the rights to ask the guest to vacate the resort.
  • We request you to make prior appointments for any experience such as a trek or a yoga session.
  • Some of the activities such as the Plantation trail for instance, are subject to season and weather conditions.
  • Our cottages are ideally designed for double occupancy with one king-sized bed and a couch. Hence, we encourage accommodation of two individuals in a cottage (2 PAX/cottage).
  • Food and Liquor bought from outside are not allowed in the resort.
  • Pets are not allowed in our resort.

The simple guidelines below have been designed to ensure a sustainable experience for all of us:

  • Inform yourself about Coorg your destination in the Western Ghats its complex ecosystem of coffee and spice plantations, the steep terrain, the unique and rich biodiversity, and also the rich culture and customs of the land; seek the facts most relevant to the season of your visit.
  • Think before you discard Plastic bottles, candy wrappers and cigarette stubs, third helping of pasta or dessert you knew you wouldn’t finish. Dispose everything in a designated bin, and never in the plantation or over the hillside.
  • Help us segregate all wastes for ease of recycling/composting. Ask us to dispose anything you wouldn’t want to. We will do our best to minimize its negative impacts.
  • Support our initiatives to conserve precious resources every watt of power and every liter of water saved contribute to ‘Sustainable Good Life’.
  • Respect the powers of nature and appreciate the complex ecology of the terrain particularly while hiking and trekking through Kabbinakad estate home to The Tamara Coorg and today to you!.
  • The waterfalls and streams in our estate is source of drinking water to villages they flow down to. Playing or bathing in them can affect the quality of potable water for the villagers.
  • The woods and plantations are the rightful home to all animals, birds, reptiles, insects and plants in there. As guests staying in their home, we must be kind and courteous to them.
  • Remember to enjoy the power of silence as you trek through the region and to seek permission before taking pictures of the native residents.
