Kodaikanal can be visited any time of year.

Pets are not allowed in the resort.

Yes, children are allowed in the resort.

We have car parking space. Drivers will be provided complimentary dormitory accommodation as per availability. Food will be provided at our staff cafeteria at nominal charges.

The resort has basic paramedic facilities. In the event of an emergency, the nearest hospital is 4 km away and accessible by car.

We suggest a minimum of 2 nights’ stay to experience all the activities in the resort. However, The Tamara Kodai is meant for relaxation and rejuvenation. To experience it all at a peaceful pace, 3 nights or more may be best.

We accept all the major credit/debit cards.

Roads from all the different entry points to the resort are in good condition. There is likely to be seasonal wear and tear especially during the rainy season. We recommend an SUV vehicle for a comfortable journey.

Standard check-in is at 1:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are possible but are chargeable and subject to availability.

Devil’s Kitchen, Pillar Rocks, Kodai Lake, and Coaker’s walk are a few interesting places in Kodaikanal.

We do host many senior citizens at our resort, comfortably. However, the resort is at a high altitude and some of the outdoor activities are strenuous and physically challenging. Please obtain medical advice about their travel, activities and comfort at high altitudes, before booking your stay with us.

We get strong mobile signals of most operators. However, it is important to note that due to the remote location, weather changes, and hilly terrain, signal strength can vary from time to time.

Yes, we do allow DJs and loud music in the premises, on special occasions or on request.
